LoRa Gateway | Why Encryption is Needed ?
Complete security is an essential element of LPWAN design, but Private LoRa is not. This major update puts the encryption function into Private LoRa.
Just like LoRaWAN uses AES 128-bit encryption, private LoRa also supports AES 128 and 256. Only the same key can read the correct message. This greatly improves confidentiality and prevents data from being modified by third parties.
LoRaWAN has already done it, why does Private have to achieve the same function?
Because you can use Private LoRa without a gateway. Therefore, end-to-end direct communication / control can be realized.
Therefore, this update can ensure that end-to-end communication or control is confidential and that the information is correct.
